Peak EV charging hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday. All other times are considered off-peak, including overnight hours and weekends.
Charging during off-peak hours (8 p.m. to 8 a.m. on weekdays and all day on weekends) helps reduce strain on the electric grid.
