The Atlantic City Electric Make-Ready program is ACE’s Residential EVSE Rebate program. Through this program, drivers can receive a rebate covering up to 50% of electrical upgrade costs - up to a maximum of $1,000 - for installing a Level 2 EV charger at home.
To qualify for the rebate, participants must share their charging data with Atlantic City Electric through an eligible electric vehicle or home charging station.
If you have an eligible EV, you can connect your vehicle to WeaveGrid to meet this requirement. You have two options for sharing your data:
- Join the Off-Peak Charging Credit program and earn credits for charging during off-peak hours. Learn more here.
- Share your data with Atlantic City Electric and only participate in the Make-Ready program. There are no additional incentives for this option.
If you don’t have an eligible EV, you may still be able to share your data by connecting an eligible charger. However, in this case, you cannot connect through WeaveGrid.
